Ride for Their Lives 2006

Where: Spartanburg, SC – Tyger River Presbyterian Church

When: Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 9AM

A 28-mile loop and a 64-mile metric century through

the beautiful Carolina countryside!

ALL proceeds from the ride will benefit the World Village, a program through WORLDWIDE Adoption Services. Our current project is to support our brand new baby home in Vietnam.

The routes will take you through the BEAUTIFUL countryside of upstate South Carolina!

You will cycle on lightly traveled secondary roads with directional markings to help you follow the course.

There will be refreshments before the start, and during the ride along the course. After the ride, we will be serving a delicious lunch so plan to stick around! Remember those yummy chocolate chip cookies from last year? They'll be back again!!!

Important Ride Information:

If you mail your registration before ride day: $20.00, Ride Day Registration: $25.00

Registration will begin at 8:00am and will close at 8:45am on day of ride. Ride will begin at 9am, rain or shine! ANSI or Snell helmets will be required for all riders.

The church will be open for use of restrooms and water fountains.

Directions to Start/Finish – Tyger River Presbyterian Church

· From Asheville or Columbia on I-26:

Take exit 22, which is Reidville Rd. (Hwy 296). Go west off the exit on Reidville Rd. towards the Denny's Restaurant (Left from Columbia, Right from Asheville). Travel a total of 5.5 miles to Tyger River Presbyterian Church. The church will be on the left, .2 miles (that's two-tenths) after the Hwy 296 - Hwy 290 Intersection. Parking is also available at River Ridge Elementary School across the street.

· From Greenville or Charlotte on I-85:

Take exit 63, which is Hwy 290. Go southeast off the exit on Hwy 290, towards the Denny’s restaurant (Right from Greenville, Left from Charlotte). Go 3 miles to the Hwy 296 intersection (Reidville Rd.). Turn right on Hwy 296 (turning to the west). Go .2 miles (that’s two-tenths) to Tyger River Presbyterian Church. The church will be on the left, additional parking on right at River Ridge Elementary School.
